Individual bonus rule
Zero-sum against the field A birdie is 1 bonus hole, an eagle is 5, and a greenie is 1. The golfer wins that amount from each of the other three players.
How the match is scored
On each hole, every golfer is compared with the other three. You gain one hole for each player you beat, lose one for each player who beats you, and tie for zero.
A: EB: +1C: +2D: +2
Result: A is 3 UP, B is 1 UP, and C and D are both 2 DOWN. Birdies, eagles, and par-three greenies are zero-sum individual bonuses: the golfer wins the bonus from each of the other three players. For example, one greenie gives its winner +3 and gives every opponent -1. In the team side bet, each team uses its lowest score. In 1 vs 3, the solo golfer's score is compared with the trio's best score. The lower team score normally wins 1 team hole, but a winning birdie is worth 2 team holes. A par-three greenie adds 1 more team hole to the greenie winner's team. Entered scores are automatically counted when you move to another hole, even if you tap the numbered hole instead of Save & next.
